We are looking for an Architect with a strong affinity for new technologies and the curiosity to research how they can transform the world of tomorrow. As an Architect in our Turin office, you will be working as a member of a multidisciplinary and international design team, tackling on projects during all design phases, from designing concepts to drawing plans, creating renderings and making presentations, reporting your work to a Project Manager.

 

Requirements

Carlo Ratti Associati is looking for an intern to join our communications and press office team, starting from mid-August 2021. Working full time in our Turin studio, you will be part of a multidisciplinary and international group of professionals, gaining the chance to learn the basics of communications, press relations, and media content production.

 

Main tasks:

•  Support the team in writing press interviews, press releases, and preparing newsletters
•  Support the team in monitoring publications and archiving media clippings
•  Support the team in developing material for social media
•  Share press material with journalists
•  Support the team in both curatorial projects and communication initiatives connected to the startups of the CRA group

As we are expanding our activities into 1:1 digital fabrication, we are looking for an enthusiastic Construction Manager to coordinate each aspect of construction projects – from design to site construction, and overseeing progress along the way in a timely and cost-effective manner. You will be responsible for budgeting, organization, implementation, developing and scheduling of the projects, synching up with our fabrication team.

We are looking for a candidate to coordinate each aspect of construction projects, from the design to concrete development, and oversee their progress along the way in a timely and cost-effective manner. 

You will be in charge – with other professionals – to structure a new business unit that will focus on the digital fabrication at building scale, starting from BIM models.

As Digital Fabricator at Building Scale in CRA, you will be responsible for budgeting, organization, implementation, developing and scheduling of the projects.

 

Job Responsibilities:

•  Develop a seamless process form BIM models – developed by our design unit – to construction, using innovative methods of fabrication;

•  Ensure the process of integration from the design team to the engineering and manufacturing team;

•  Ensures that the project is constructed and documented in accordance with the contract documents and good engineering practices;

•  Develops and maintains project cost/change controls, and project budget and accounting records;

•  Performs change order estimating and assists in change order negotiations;

•  Coordinates and monitors schedule updates, invoices, and submittals;

•  Reviews weekly and monthly reports on the status and progress of the contracts, including project costs and potential changes;
