We are looking for an Architect with a strong affinity for new technologies and the curiosity to research how they can transform the world of tomorrow. As an Architect in our Turin office, you will be working as a member of a multidisciplinary and international design team, tackling on projects during all design phases, from designing concepts to drawing plans, creating renderings and making presentations, reporting your work to a Project Manager.

 

Requirements

•  Fluent in written and spoken English, proficiency in another language is an asset

•  Master’s degree in Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Urban Design, or other relevant field

As an Architect Intern in our Turin office, you will be working on various projects within a multidisciplinary and international design team and mentored by experienced architectural professionals.

•  Currently studying or recently graduated in Architectural, Building Engineering or other relevant studies

CRA – Carlo Ratti Associati is looking for a cosmopolitan, motivated, highly-organized Chief of Staff to Carlo Ratti. You will coordinate a small team (the “Cabinet” team) and work closely with Carlo Ratti in his multiple capacities – as co-founder of the design office Carlo Ratti Associati, professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, writer & public intellectual and serial start-upper. You will be the point person for all the individuals exchanging with Carlo Ratti both inside the group (around 500 people between Europe, the USA and Asia) and outside it.

 

Your role should help make time, information, and decision processes more effective. Key activities and roles include:

•  Point of contact for Carlo Ratti vis-à-vis the cabinet team and the various divisions of the group;

•  Supervision on the Cabinet team;

•  Preparation of the annual budget forecast for the Cabinet and supervision the Cabinet finances throughout the year;

•  Managing internal and external correspondence and overall scheduling;

•  Negotiation of advisory & consultancy contracts and support in the preparation for the meetings;

•  Travel and logistics management;

•  Management of personal finances and administrative duties;

•  Entering data, maintaining databases, and keeping records;

•  Observing best business practices and etiquette.

 

The Chief of Staff must meet the following requirements:

•  Proficiency in several languages (English mandatory);

•  Exceptional interpersonal skills;

•  Higher educational degree in any subject suitable for the role (knowledge of the fields of design is a plus);

•  Outstanding organizational and time management skills;

As we are expanding our activities into 1:1 digital fabrication, we are looking for an enthusiastic Construction Manager to coordinate each aspect of construction projects – from design to site construction, and overseeing progress along the way in a timely and cost-effective manner. You will be responsible for budgeting, organization, implementation, developing and scheduling of the projects, synching up with our fabrication team.

 

Construction Manager’s Job Responsibilities:

•  Coordinating with the digital fabrication team

•  Managing in-factory pre-building and on-site construction

•  Ensuring that the project is constructed, documented and invoiced in accordance with the contract documents and good engineering practices

•  Developing and maintaining project cost/change controls, and project budget and accounting records

•  Assisting in managing and reviewing the progress of contractors’ construction schedules

•  Reporting the status of projects to business and market leaders

•  Attending client program meetings as needed

 

Construction Manager’s Qualifications / Skills:

•  BIM and digital twin knowledgeCoors

Responsabilità:

Redazione della documentazione tecnica inerente alla direzione dei lavori e al coordinamento della sicurezza;

• Sopralluoghi;

• Capacità di sviluppare metodologia adeguata ai lavori per opere civili;

Coordinamento e gestione dei gruppi di lavoro;

• Supervisione sui lavori;

• Gestione e pianificazione dell’approvvigionamento dei materiali;

• Garantire che il progetto sia costruito, documentato e fatturato in conformità con i documenti contrattuali e le buone pratiche di ingegneria;

Educazione, esperienza:

Laurea triennale/magistrale in ingegneria civile, gestione delle costruzioni, architettura o altre discipline affini;

Sono richiesti 2/3 anni di esperienza di progetto nel settore delle costruzioni;

Si preferisce esperienza con siti di costruzione di grandi stabili;

Competente con gli strumenti di MS Office.

As a Technical Architect in our Turin office, you will be working as a member of a multidisciplinary and international design team, tackling projects that require technical architectural solutions, from the schematic and design development phase to digital fabrication and construction.
